FAA Conference Chart

Yesterday was the official launching of the Australian Federation of Astrologers Conference. The conference named “Surfing New Waves of Consciousness” is now underway in Brisbane Queensland.

I am somewhat surprised by the timing of the official starting ceremony. The official start of the event is 14th January 12 47 pm in Brisbane. The chart shows a ninth house of astrology packed with the current Capricorn planets. Is it possible to “officially start” an event after the event has already started?

Surfing New Waves of Consciousness

I like the chart showing Black Moon Lilith at the mid-heaven of the chart. I am not sure whether the committee’s decision for this chart was a conscious one or not. There are some very fine astrologers involved with the FAA here in Australia and if Lilith happens to be one of the lecture subjects, the conference will truly be “surfing”.

The chart shows Lilith prominent in the chart and that means there is sub conscious drives in play during the event. It would seem that Saturn’s stationary retrograde and his rulership over the ninth house planets emphasises the ability of those ninth house planets.

It makes sense that Lilith is at the Mid heaven. It would make sense that Lilith be discussed within the theme of  “New Waves of Consciousness”. I would love to hear back from anyone who is attending the conference and how Black Moon Lilith is represented in the scheme of the conference.

I think I would have chosen a different time for the opening ceremony and perhaps after the new moon today. I guess the committee’s astrologers erecting this official starting chart had their own views on the matter. Sometimes it’s about going with what is available at the time.

Lilithmus Paper

In the last ten days the festive season increased my social interactions several hundred percent. Including christmas day, christmas parties and other functions I have connected face to face with about sixty different people. With so many social interactions in such a short time it’s probably worthwhile to check if Lilith has expressed herself for either good or ill. It’s all good really.

At one christmas function this year they gave me a blue bracelet tag for free bar service. Surprisingly enough I asked the person “where do you want to stick that”? Both of us immediately recognised the sexual connotations in my question. I think we handled my out of context statement quite well. Perhaps Lilith helped me to break some ice and show a different side of myself?

There are more opportunities for Lilith to emerge in expression by increasing the levels of ones social interactions. Keeping busy and having a full life is good however accidently overlooking Lilith’s presence may add to the crucible.

I went to christmas lunch in a black t-shirt with intentions of changing into a pressed christmas day shirt however once at my sisters house I decided against the change. I made a point of asking my mother if she was ok with this idea. I did not need her approval for this however it was my cynical assertion that it didn’t bother me. Perhaps I was being a bit “Lilithy” with my Mother? I was wishing my Mother a merry lilithmas – Lilith to Lilith. I gave myself the approval and dismissed the idea of my traditional ” christmas shirt”.

Lilith came though some my interactions during christmas. While I am still processing the interactions, there doesn’t seem to have been any real damage along the way. Quite the contrary.

Lilith has a creative and instinctive expression through humour and wit. “She” is spontaneous and surprising part of character. Lilith loves to be seen and heard even if some social interactions seem out of character in hind sight.

I occasionally think about my past and more controversial Lilithy interactions. The various pieces of Lilith meld together adding character creativity to personality.

Shape and Form

It’s good to recognise Lilith’s shape and form in personality. That is, to at least recognise her for what she represents in character.

For me Lilith represents sub conscious expressions of character emerging blindly within ones social context. The literal manifestations of Lilith during social interaction can reflect a surprising part of ones character.
