The Silent Voice Emerges – Astro Trends

Sometimes it is hard keeping up with all the planetary trends. The sky’s have been busy as of late with shifts, turns and alterations going on. Life is constantly changing on personal levels, generationally,  and on international levels. It is possible to gain insight to life’s changes by interpreting the planetary symbolism through Astrology.

Depending on the style of Astrology –  interpretations may or may not be useful to you. My interpretations tend towards humanistic and social level interactions. I use the planets to describe people – their stories and interactions.

You may wish to use my interpretations for insights into intrapsychic levels to reflect on your inner world and the environment you interact in.

Period begining Pisces Ingress      19th February 2008

With Mercury finishing its reticent direction we can breathe a sigh of relief and have faith in planning incidental details and making arrangements of all kinds. We have come through one of the most difficult retrograde period for as long as I can remember. Mars has been retrograde in Gemini, Pluto has transferred into Capricorn, Venus shifted to Aquarius and the Solar Eclipse with Chiron earlier this month all means there has been a great deal of movement in the skies above. The complexities of the planetary movement, reflects the nature of changes going on within our relational and personal stories.  Depending where the planetary changes are occurring in your personal (natal) chart, the astrological “influence” will vary in nature.

The recent period of planetary shifts has provided the framework for surges of conflict and increased stress with regard to competitive situations. Trying to make right decisions to move forward with our goals means much more than any other time previously.

“You win some and you lose some” is perhaps the philosophical justification in regard to the outcomes of decisions made during the recent times. The complex story unfolding (courtesy of the planetary symbolism) began last December.  I will pick up the story this week.

Some of us it seems, cannot not just leave things where they have ended recently. Whether it be in the work place or local watering hole there is at least one person ready to put the boots in as you are trying to get up off the floor from the recent chaos.

“Its the person over in the corner” who has been seemingly invisible on the radar of usual suspects. There is an irresistible urge now, for the usually reticent-translucent type of person in the group to have a say. They have been patiently biding their time by observing rather than acting on matters of current concern. It could well be that this person or part of our self has the clearest view on the matter at hand. It is time for this person or voice within, to emerge assertively. It could be that our intuition is calling-loudly.

The Sun moves into Pisces and meets with the Asteroid Vesta. Happy birthday Pisces. I must admit to liking the Pisces types and over the years have come to appreciate their sense of humour and unique perspectives of life.

When the Pisces person becomes backed into a corner they will only remain flexible to a point. They are only human and Pisces do seem to avoid confrontation generally. It would be nice if our current troubles could be worked out over a glass of beer or cup of tea.

The Pisces hopes that others get a sense of where they are supposed to fit in or adapt to the changing circumstances without their immediate involvement. The idealistic world of the Pisces symbolism is perfect in every way however this month a disturbance brings us face to face with a certain reality. Whether we are confronted by making certain decisions or having to deal with practicalities, the real possibility is that someone may end up feeling a slap in the face.

The shine of the Pisces Sun is invested into the humanitarian belief of carrying out the most compassionate of acts. Unfortunately the show becomes a little transparent and another reason (self interested ones) floats to the surface thanks to the Lunar Eclpise in early Virgo. The worst case scenario for the month is acting out of character with a type of dutch courage in order to deal with prickly matters. There is an uncertain, less dominant part within our personality, tentatively finding his or her voice. Like the Fool within perhaps.

It may seem that by taking the correct moral ground on some issue tends to look like martyrdom in the current environment. Perhaps I am being a little picky and reluctant to see that someone may benefit in the long run?

Anyway; as the Eclipse floats the idea of the selfless, caring and humanitarian awards night which creates some competition within the ranks. Imagine the internal diologue and the parts of ourselves fighting with each other to gain a majority vote. Watch out for the bullying nature of this current Piscean energy. There is a kind of micro pedantic chatter between the ‘voices’ at this time.

The recent Solar Eclipse degree is triggered off by Chiron while the Lunar Eclipse this week combines with the reality of Saturn in Virgo. I am starting to feel a little queasy.

Mars and Pluto opposition eventually creates an intrusive conflict which is one of those “must deal with” scenarios. If we choose to avoid the real conflict within or in our environment, the disruptive energy comes out somewhere else. Innocent bystanders are prone to being drawn into scenarios instead of the situation being dealt with directly.

Hopefully mediation will be helpful and the inner chatter subsides. Everyone can go out for drinks afterwards?

You’re feeling queasy? I neglected to take my sea sick tabs before i came here. Holy smokes! It looks like it’s a very informative post Kingsley. Are we all going to be a tad cranky for a bit?

Yes I am a bit Roses. And I guess thats my feeling response to the hapenings around the eclipse. The eclipse is accross a strong part in my chart dealing with home and career. Perhaps my wants versus needs will be at odds during this period. However my insights and sense about the full moon today tend to show problems in the family. That is my prediction and now, what do I do with that one might ask the astrologer?

Cranky is a great word. I was extremely cranky for a few days before the eclipse. It was a strange angry energy.

And for me it’s 12th/6th… I lost some business 😦
    but I’ve been meditating….

Yes it is a good word Aliza. I was a little cranky earlier on today, perhaps cranky is sharper than grumpy. Sounds like a 1st/7th thing?

Lets see if i can think of something to say to your future Ken.

Orange is something that will drive your emotions and then it will just dissapear for a bit. Then it will ride your conscience for a night and half a day. Perhaps the choice will be left to you. Will you hit out or be ‘adult’ about it all?

There’s always a choice, even when none of them seem great or nice ones. They always lead us somewhere though.

Well, that is a Silent voice of prediction Roses. Not that you have a silent voice at all. I agree with you Roses about choice. That doesn’t alter the framework for my astrological outline. People make choices in all kinds of weather; to go for a walk or not; and they either get wet or complete the walk all dry.

When you have extensively studied “the way of the Orange” or whatever that is Roses, I will perhaps try to attune my intuition for what you are saying. But for now I will just let it go Roses.

    K,

For me, “cranky” is young (like a baby). “Grumpy” is an older sort of whine…

Cranky is a great word for Cancerians, which squares your Aries Ego. So I hope you were cranky because that would show your evolution along the wheel! 😉

    I’m being silly…

I love being silly. I think you may be right about the difference between Cranky and Grumpy Aliza.

Glad you let go. It’s just words Ken.

    Happy Sunday… roses
