Astrology Moments

Today there is an Astrology moment worth noting. Mercury conjunct Algol is square Neptune. Like all Astrology moments each country will have a slightly different timing for the event. In some cases astrological moments are best when one is asleep! One can however miss out on worthwhile experiences if the event occurs in the small hours.

Perhaps the astro-moment happens in dreams?

The Moon is leaving Pluto to form a trine to Mars in Taurus today. Whenever Moon trines Mars there is potential to voice ones concerns assertively. Moon trine Mars during today’s Astrology Moment allows catharsis and an opportunity to express oneself.

The timing for this event in Eastern Australia is about 6 pm while in America its early hours or midnight.

The Planet Mercury represents communication such as e mails – phone calls – blogging – text messages and other mailed items. The seventh cusp represents our open enemies and the people we know well. When Mercury is on the descendant axis there is a great potential for communication with “someone else” -  someone who we know. Mercury also represents young people and in this case Mercury could be a student or sibling.

Recently Mercury came out of its retrograde motion and once again is “squaring off” in its meaningful tussle with Jupiter Neptune and Chiron. I am hoping that great insights and epiphany’s can be achieved.

Mercury is also conjunct Algol in this “square off”. Mercury conjunct Algol square Jupiter Neptune Chiron creates a moment in Astrology where we can “lose our heads”. Algol is a malefic fixed star and represents Medusa’s severed head. Algol creates an intensity to Mercury – you may find yourself lost in arguments that involve bad language.  Crickey!

Discussions and arguments today may be confusing when thinking becomes distorted. All is good in my view because in the moment of losing control – becoming confused – there is an opportunity to express feelings. When we can align our feelings to a particular event in life there can be a “realisation” – one of those light bulb moments! The experience may not be easy.

Ah Ha!

For those who live in the northern hemisphere today’s astrological moment happens relatively late in the evening. If you are asleep there is a good chance that your subconscious world is sifting and sorting items for your eventual clarity. Neptune is of course the planet of dreams and tonight there is a very good chance you will receive a “message” in your mind.

If you wish to be open to experiences that provide growth then you may reflect on experiences and dreams afterwards. If you wish to be closed to these moments that I call “thinking challenges” then I guess you will find a way to avoid or minimise today’s epiphany. All the best.
